Welcome to our honeymoon registry

Our Story

It's the little things and the big things that brought us together. We met in November 2015, thanks to some dad jokes, smiles, a Shelby cobra t-shirt and science fiction books. Long dates, longer drives and a couple rivers in between, everything became an adventure together.

Honeymoon Destination Japan

Japan! We've always been drawn to the country's history, food, drink and culture style. We've always promised each other that Japan would be a When trip, not a wishful Someday.

So no matter what, we'll be getting ourselves across the Pacific Ocean.

Our ideal trip is to spend a week-ish exploring the cities and ares of one region, before setting up a 'home base' in the next region to explore some more. We've got our sights set on the big cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, with regional adventures around.

We created this registry with the thought that you could travel with us, and be part of a memory.

Hot springs were discovered in Kinosaki around the 8th century and since then the town has developed into a charmingly old-fashioned onsen (hot springs) town. Part of the adventure would be staying in a ryokan, a traditional Japanese inn, which will allow us to visit all seven baths in the town.

Sake in Kobe
Fully gifted!

Alex loves his sake. In Kobe there's the Nada Sake District, one of Japan's top sake producing regions. Many sake breweries operate in the district, with exhibits showcasing the process of sake brewing, tours and of course tastings.
